VoiceSpend ("we", "our", "us") is a voice-first expense tracker that
stores your financial data on your device and, optionally, in your
personal iCloud account. We do not operate a cloud database for your
expense entries. Your data remains under your control.
What data VoiceSpend stores

On-device / iCloud content: Expense entries,
accounts, categories, tags, and budgets are stored locally on your
device. If iCloud is enabled, this data syncs to your personal
iCloud Drive container — it lives in your own Apple iCloud account,
not on our servers.

Audio (transient): When you use Voice Dictation,
audio is sent to our backend for processing and is immediately
discarded after transcription. We do not permanently store your
audio recordings.

Subscription balances (Keychain): Your AI Minutes
and image-analysis balances are stored in your device's Keychain.
This is on-device only and is not uploaded to our servers.

Analytics (limited): We collect basic, non-personal
usage data (such as website page views) to help improve VoiceSpend
and measure performance. Analytics data is not linked to your
expense content.
How to delete your data
1) Delete on-device content

Open the VoiceSpend app and delete any expense entries, accounts,
or other data you no longer need from within the app.

Delete the VoiceSpend app to remove all locally stored app data
from your device. Reinstalling the app creates a fresh instance
with no previous local data.

If you exported backups (JSON or CSV) to other apps such as Files,
those copies must be deleted separately from those apps.
2) Delete iCloud data
If iCloud sync was enabled, your expense data is stored in your
personal iCloud Drive container. To delete it:

Go to iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage
Storage → VoiceSpend and delete the app's storage.

Alternatively, deleting the app and then going to
Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage
lets you remove the iCloud container directly.
3) Analytics data — why individual deletion is not possible
VoiceSpend's website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect basic,
anonymous usage data such as page views and click events. This data
is collected without any user identifier — no
account, no device ID, and no advertiser ID (IDFA). Events are
aggregated and cannot be linked back to any individual user.
Because there is no user identifier attached to any analytics event,
individual deletion of analytics data is technically not
possible — even by us. There is no row in a database that
belongs to you, so there is nothing to find or remove.
If you would like to stop future analytics data
collection, you can opt out at the iOS level:

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics &
Improvements and turn off Share iPhone
Analytics.
This prevents your device from sending any analytics data to any app,
including VoiceSpend. If you have questions about our data practices,

4) Subscriptions & billing
Subscriptions and billing are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel a
subscription, go to
iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Refund
requests are handled by Apple at
reportaproblem.apple.com.
